PBL is not just a "different" method of teaching. The students and teachers must learn to change their mind-sets. This also include the educational administrators. If you really want to use PBL, DO IT RIGHT at the onset!

I have been systematically delivering PBL workshops in Taiwan and China covering the domains of: Concept and misconception of PBL, student evaluation and selection for PBL curriculum, construction of PBL trigger problems, PBL tutorial process and tutor roles, integration between preclincal and clinical sciences, outcome studies of PBL curriculum. More advanced workshop includes: Advanced tutor training - handling difficult situations. Immplement and sustain PBL, etc.
